It is a parasitic disease that attacks the intestinal wall of all domestic and wild animals including human. Poultry coccidiosis also referred to as Eimeria is characterized by bloody diarrhea due to damage the parasite causes to the intestinal tract, ruffled feathers, "reduced head" the head appear tacked in.
