Good price and weight are determined by quality. And quality is a factor of age at finishing and finishing method. The two common finishing practice is either feedloting or straight pasture. For feedloting you have your animals in TMR (total mixed ration) high in energy and well balanced. This will give you uniform weight gain. For straight grass finishing ensure that your animals are feeding on quality pasture and at the right stage (when the pastures aren't lush) better finishing in this case is done when the rains are low and the grass is turning midbrown. Have mineral supplement too, not growth promoters. When finishing during rains ensure you have good hay suppliment
