Is it a must one to used antibiotics when brooding broiler chick ?
Antibiotics are drugs ? ment to act against microbial diseases and not feed supplement thus their use should be restricted to registered vet. Prescriptions only. Remember poultry meat with drug residue is not fit for human consumption hence you should restrict your broilers to non antibiotic feed supplements only.

Well thanks, but most farmers believe they shld used antibiotics when chick are within one week old.
Does that means its still harmful ,or it is protecting flock?

We have broiler feeds fortified with antimicrobial agents to take care of any eventualities. Broilers matures very fast and most farmers might not adhere to the antibiotics withdrawal periods. Bottom line is apart from being a drug ? this is unnecessary cost that can be avoided through good management practice and embracing positivity either than having the fear of unknown.

True,"having the fear of unknown" is a great weakness to farmers,
But can you recommend vacation like Newcastle?
Yes vaccinations are very safe and should be the way to go in addition to biosecurity. Minimize unnecessary movements in and out of the poultry area. This will reduce infection upto 90%. The remaining 10% is taken care of by vaccinations.
