Tomatoes best areas within Machakos and Narok counties?

I'd request to know the best areas within Machakos and Narok counties for a good farming of commercial crops eg tomatoes, potatoes and maybe watermelons. I will appreciate your feedback.

Hi,

Am not familiar with the place but when doing site selection for crop production its important you consider

• Availability of water to meet the crop water requirements
• Proximity to the market
• Availability of social amenities e.g good feeder roads
• Type of soil
• Security
• Availability of labour
• Weather conditions

Any other inputs is highly recommended thanks
