I have been using infra red bulbs to provide warmth for my chicks normally 100 - 150 in number. Am moving to a place where electricity is a problem when already have plan to increase the number to 500 - 1000 chicks. Which is the other alternative and affordable means source of heat since my plan is irreversible?

please would like to understand the solar heating system that would sufficiently serve 500 chicks to include in the plan.
