If the whitish substances are on the upper surface of the leaves and mouldy the it is a case of powdery mildew however if on the upper surface are yellow patches and the under side is whitish substances then it's downy mildew and still if white water- soacked patches on the underside of the leaves the it's white mould which is in
schleretonia species. All the three conditions are fungal and can be managed by application of fungicides like SCORE, RIDOMIL GOLD, or any other containing mancozeb,matalyxl or copper-oxy-chloride as active ingredients( A.I). If the attack isn't widespread then cultural method like rouging ( destruction) of infected plant(s)
