This could be due to a range of factors including -diseases that specifically cause foetus loss such as enzootic abortion,brucellosis (brucella melitensis)
-any disease that causes high fever
-poor nutrition especially during late stage of pregnancy
-mineral deficiency
-stress
-certain poisonous plants.
