Hello. I am in need of assistance concerning the deep litter positioning. I normally take my kienyeji eggs to the hatchery hence the chicks come in batches once hatched. The kienyeji course lets us know that we can release the chicks to join the other birds btwn 3-4 weeks.
When constructing my deep litter coop, once the 4 week chicks are out...can the join the other birds to eat the kienyeji feeds? Or should I make partitions within the structure to accommodate the young birds until they are old enough to eat with the rest of the older birds?
Please help as I am in the process of constructing their structure. Thanks
