Medicine are for treatments only. Would advice that apart from multivitamins, keep medication to bare minimum. It is sad that some farmers have neglected clean production which is achieved by proper management practices (farm hygiene) and taken to routine antibiotics against veterinary public health recommendations. Bottom line is no medicine should be administered as routine except vaccinations.

I'm noting that my chicken has one eye swollen. What type of disease is this and what kind of treatment should I administer.

What other signs do you observe and how many are affected. Your case is either infectious coryza or fowlpox. Kindly try squeez and let out white substance underneath the eye lid if any. Clean the eye daily with iodine solution, apply tetrcycline cream e.g centrino cream. Otherwise you can explain the full condition to any vet. When you get to buy this items at the vet.shop.
