DeKalb are maize varieties from Monsanto currently owned by Bayer.
They have different maize varieties adapted for different altitudes for example DKC 90-89 is suitable for medium altitude areas and can produce 44 bags per acre.
For your case find the DK variety adapted for your altitude.
To achieve the expected yields observe good management practices.

My farm is located in the lower plains of Mount Elgon. Actually some distance from the Ranges! So which variety of DK is suitable for the plains?
