How to grow and manage eggplants
Eggplant is a crop in the Solanaceae family and thus should not be planted in an area where tomatoes, potatoes among other crops had been previously planted. The seeds are first sowed in the nursery and later transplanted. The correct spacing is 40cm by 60 cm. Eggplants take 3 months to mature. Fertilizer application should be done in line with the soil test analysis.
