which is the best route to follow when starting up as a chicken farmer? Is it advisable to begin with eggs in hatcheries or to begin with chicks. If eggs do you have any trusted supplier you would recommend? If chicks what is the ideal age and also which trusted supplier would you recommend?

@ wairegi, it all depends on your line of interest in poultry production versus market for the target products in addition initial start up capital for the individual investment alternative. Note hatching chicks would require an augmentation with rearing facilities especially with the fluctuation in market for chicks.
