Chickens How can i keep the chicks from day one to another level when i dont have areal brooder

You can have them in simple brooder made from strong cartons (portable) at night and during the day have them feed on special simple enclosers that alows sun to act as source of heat. Cumbersome though coz one has to be available to monitor the extremities of weather.e.g rain and strong sun
