How do we effectively reduce foul smell from poultry houses?

Proper ventilation, solid wall should not be more than 3ft high. The remaining part should be meshed with chicken wire. Regular clean up and last resort is spreading lime

Lime should be incorporate in the litter for deep litter system and used to clean the floor for battery cage system.
