The dimensions are in what units? Otherwise for layers you require A minimum of 2square feet per bird(2 mature birds for every 1square meter) and broilers 1 square foot per bird( 4 birds for every 1square meter) in the deep liter system. In the battery system because of the cages being in layers thus using even the aerial space you space of 40x80 can hold more.
