The least amount you need for construction for the minimum enomical amout of 100 birds is for example if in kenya, Ksh.30,000. That is for simple deep liter system cinstruction cost and cost of chicks at 100/- each without feed and other utilities cost.

Unit construction should be 2sqft per bi and 1sqft per bird for layers and broilers respectively. Solid wall should be 3ft high remaining part chicken meshed. The hight from the floor to the highest point of the roof should be 8ft. The shape should be rectangle . Orientation should be east west on the longer side.
