Poultry I want to get into egg production in commercial quantities. How much does it cost to raise a layer from a day old till it's disposed off.

Gross margin analysis varies from farm to farm depending the following, labour cost in your area, where you source your poultry feed, how best you control your diseases. There is no one fit it all gross margin for every farmer. Kindly get the input cost in your area and out put expextation from your farm. Work the cost out and divde by the total number of birds you intend to keep.
