pure breeds like australops are found with breeding companies most of which are found in developed countries.After breeding they come up with high yielding/performing breeds which are sold to multiplication farms.The multiplication farms produces parents which are sold to hatcheries.The hatcheries produce day old chicks to production farms/farmers.Most of what is supplied by hatcheries are hybrids.As a farmer therefore it is not in terms of physical features but specific production traits like egg sizes and number of eggs laid.
