Your flock could be infected by ecto-parasites. For you to see wounds on the neck means they have scratched all the feathers due to itchy skin. If possible post the pictures here for clarity otherwise explain your case to agro vet dealer for a suitable antibiotic cream to sooth and heal the wound.
