Poultry Paralysis

Please help me to manage this condition, it's killing my 9day old chicks one after the other. i have posted video in our group for viewing. No other sign, in fact they were full of health just the other day. They eat while in that position for 2-3 days, and later stop, then death strikes in.i saw this again in my previous stock where I lost about 5 percentage of it.

Thanks for sharing from the title they are paralysed?. Simply dissolve dicalcium phosphate(DCP), get from nearest agrovet apinch of that in water and admnister to the paralized orally. Let the rest too have DCP in their drinkers. The paralized should recover fully in 3-4 days. No course for alarm. Remember always to have your chicks on chick formular to reduce mineral defficiency.

Have just bought Dcp. (Norbrook) they have indicated that it should be mixed with feed.suppose I mix with water and give them to drink.

My opinion, I may be wrong so please @nedward correct me, I think @Alec Ocharo 's chicks may be suffering from Vitamin E deficiency,..whose symptoms include muscular weekends, head & neck pulled towards the back, paralysis and eventual death due to starvation.
So in addition to the dcp as advised, I think it would be inorder also to incorporate a multivitamin with high concentration of vit E and selenium.

Yes for control it is recommended so. Your case need quick action that is why from experience confession from other farmers some on this platform whom had adviced to do so and sure they thanked me after 4th day, you just need to have a small amount mix with 5ml water and give to the affected chicks, do that for 3 days. @cylde007 that is why have adviced chick formular always because it has high concentration of this vitamins. @janseen @Peter if your can pull thread where farmer had such case and did the as have adviced and later gave thanks for quick response may be you can direct Ocharo. Can't get it right here. Otherwise@ocharo you give it try coz it worked for me and others so it should work for you too. At times when challenges come we don't think in straight line but apply all remedies. Thank you.
