Being high in progesterone an hormone that is responsible for maintaining pregregnancy, the effect would be reduced milk let down by the sow because of the antagonistic effect the hormone has on prolactin and oxytocin the hormines for milk let down and release. Besides it might habour bacteria that might harm the pig once ingested.
