Fowl pox is the name. There is no cure. Being viral vaccination is the sure control measure. Otherwise you can manage the secondary and opportunistic infection by cleaning around the eyes with 10% iodine, and apply oxytetracycline cream on the scabs. In addition give multivitamin to reduce stress and if eyes closed , remove white substance underneath by squeezing it out. Remember the birds die due to stervation by not seeing food. Recovered birds remain carrier s hence all in all out practice of poultry production must be adhered to in such cases.
