I had an outbreak of a disease in which was characterised by swollen eyes with characteristic hard pus clods, blindness and ulceration of the beak. How may I prevent young chicks from getting infected?

This is a respiratory infection called infectious coryza. Clean and disinfect the chicken coup to reduce the infection rate in the flock. observe cleanliness and hygiene within the chicken coup by ensuring the litter is well managed, also avoid mixing birds of different ages.
