You can start small scale but remember the management principles remains the same example the housing unit construction guidelines remains the same. Vaccinations program remains the same and the mental energy in raising 5 chicks applies to 50. The best advice is to have your planning for the smallest unit of 50 then you can start up with 1 cock and 5 hen. Aim at setting them 10 eggs each meaning you project around 40 chicks. The smallest vaccinations dose comes in 50 doses hence you will have value for money when buying your vaccines. Start that way and thank me later.
