Maize problem with slugs

I have a problem on how to get rid of slugs in the shamba.

What should I do because when I plant maize, beans or cowpeas, they are attacked by the slugs.
Currently am practicing organic farming

Kindly check on your farm hygiene, and spray at late evening with contact based chemical such lambdacylathorin with high volume of water.
