Hello @nedward - We had some farmers ask about how to prevent and fix Bumble Foot (scaley feet) on their chicks. Can you shed some insight here?

This can be prevented by having the birds on dry beddings in deep litter system,avoiding wet/dump surface, having your birds periodically walk through disinfectant e.g kerol mixed with water. The already affected birds should be given tender love and care(TLC) have the feet dipped in kerol or 10% iodine.
