Chickens SICK CHICKEN

My chicken are sick. They swell around the face with dark spots as if infested by some small insects but on close look, they are not insects!!! Eventually the swellings covers their faces to the extent of not seeing!!! What is this disease and its treatment please?

Kindly post the picture of the bird here if possible. Otherwise you could be having a problem of chicken mites. Yes chicken mites Kindly apply vaseline petroleum jelly. It has worked for some farmer who had similar case. Those black things will drop off and thank this platform later. Waiting keenly for the progress

Don't think so. The case above had experienced it sometimes.those are tiny creatures and they colonize around the hed, wattle and the eyes .if you are not keen enough you might assume they are none living coz they don't appear living.
