May some of my hens are dropping feather, one has died and other after slaugtering found the intestines are rotten what may be the course and the treatment
@Robert the condition is necrotic enteritis caused by toxins produced by clostridial organisms that under normal circumstances are beneficial to the birds small intestine but under stress full conditions e.g moldy feed, coccidiodis or even mareks, the good clostridium gets to uncontrollable level and produce toxins that damages the intestinal walls very fast that though antibiotics can treat the condition, the economics of doing that doesn't make sense as compared to keeping your birds stress free.
