@Mr. Opolot there are quite a number of tomatoes varieties in the market from certified seed companies branded as hybrid/F1 varieties and/or improved cultivars but still choices on which one to pick depends on certain conditions e.g
-Growing systems; which we have open field or indoor/greenhouse system and whose that be grown in both conditions
-End market ;where we have fresh market varieties and processing types
E.T.C
- Lastly fruits shelf life; other varieties produce fruits which go bad in few days after harvesting while other types stay longer after harvest.
- determinates or non determinates (need support or not)
- Resistance/ tolerance to common diseases e.g blights, Wilts and mosaics
- Maturity period
- Shape of the fruit
So it's important to consider the a bove factors when choosing a variety to grow.
Some of high yield varieties are:
Anna F1
Rambo F1
Kilele F1
Premier F1
Galilea F1
Yaara F1
The list is long these are just sampled few.

And also recommend for me the variety that are quite resistant to pest and diseases and have at least Long shelf life
Thanks for the generous adviseSpacing for tomatoes is 60cm×60cm or 60cm×45cm. These will depend on specific variety, soil nutrients and moisture availability however the wider the spacing the better to help in control and management of certain diseases.
On varieties pleases grow the following or any among them.
Rambo F1 - a product of Royal seeds company best for out door and keeps well after harvest also tolerant to most diseases
Bravo F1- for greenhouse production also a product fro Royal seeds company
Anna F1- can be grown both in greenhouse and open field, tolerant to most diseases and keeps well after harvesting- a product from Monsanto seeds.
You're most welcome. Thanks for the generous advise
