You don't need medication unless the birds are sick, for viral infections kindly have clear vaccination schedule for your birds. Other diseases you can keep at bay by maintaining biosecurity and observations of hygiene in your poultry unit. Remember antibiotics should be used to bare minimum if need be. Point to note is that poultry diseases are very difficult to treat once in. Biosecurity a must.
