It all depends on once system of production. If you can manage from day old and have the chicks in brooder the better. Otherwise after over 48hrs it is better to take them through natural brooding coz imprinting process shall have taken place and it will be difficult for the chicks to leave their mother or the mother hen to loose broodiness.
