Chickens Am rearing kuroilers but at age of 2 1/2 to 3 they peck each other to death despite feeds being in the feed troughs,please what could be the cause and

Am rearing kuroilers but at age of 2 1/2 to 3 they peck each other to death despite feeds being in the feed troughs,please what could be the cause andvise can you give me.

Also its like I have used many medicines to treat my kuroilers for cough and flu but all in vein. which medicines can you recommend me.

To summarize:
1. Ensure they have the proper spacing
2. Ensure they have the proper nutrients in their feed and diet
3. Keep them busy and not sitting idle; hang greens & other vegetables for your birds or let them outside in a semi-free range area.

Also, make sure your birds are vaccinated properly and Hygiene is kept at high standards in your coop to prevent from sickness. The best medicine is prevention!

your birds lack calcium in their feed. you should consider having the feed analized for nutritive value at Kalro Naivasha. the cost is Ksh.1000 while in kenya. otherwise give D.C.P suppliment in addition to hanging greens and debeaking.
