Am a Ugandan having some local birds at home but my challenge is one. They lay eggs in one place so they end up not hatching well. I need your help and advise on this.

To better answer your question can you further explain when you said "they lay eggs in one place"? Do you mean all of your birds are laying in one nest?

The chicken I have always hatch two to four chicks from a batch of ten to twelve eggs. What am I doing wrong or what should I improve on?

Kindly provide your birds with good laying nest. Try and have the laying nest the same design and dark. Remember birds will orient to dark nest to the corners. If they persit you have to leave an egg always in each of the nest to lure them in.Hey @Ssekaku samuel, that is a great question!
