Chickens coccidiosis & the rains

Ave just started a chicken rearing project (za kienyeji) in my home Vihiga county.What is the best vaccine for cocksdiosis which is normally prevalent during rainy season in this part of the country in mind that we are approaching the onset of long rains.

To prevent coccidiosis, ensure your birds are kept in dry areas. Coccidia thrive in wet places. Should you find yourself in a fixed and not ready to provide dry condition then clean and spread lime(choka*) to provide unfavorable conditions for the pathogens. Rule no. 1. The more the alkalinity the fewer the pathogens. Acidity or neutral favors diseases causing microorganism. You can also have your feed fortified with coccidiostart
