Pigs high mortality

Message…lam concerned at the rate at which lam losing piglets. l have so far lost more than 26 piglets in about a week out of the 40 piglets born. they normally start dying after a week. l have tried doing all what my vet has told me including hygiene, warmth, etc but they are still dying yet they don't show any signs of illness. please advice

Did you administer iron injection at day 2-3?

Write your reply...yes they were all injected with iron at day 3

You then need to ensure they a creep area clean with bedding straws to keep them warm at night. Care of the sow when almost furrowing also ensure healthy piglets. See this link too on pig farming.
