How do you solve a problem that involves chicken passing on some days without laying eggs?
Skipping day without laying isn't a problem. If the skip is prolonged or laying stop abruptly then that could be problem. All the same, it is worth understanding that egg laying (oviposition) is dependent on light I.the process is triggered by light and takes 24 hrs to complete. 1hr after laying, the process starts again and this continues until such a time that the egg is layed late in the day when there is no light to trigger the next egg development to start. This means you will expect a skip the next day and early laying the day that follows a skip. All that depends on other factors remaining constant. Otherwise there are natural skips and clutches during the entire productive period of the birds. Moulting comes in late or can be induced artificially by setting in stress factors like feed changing or introducing new birds into the laying flock.
