Poultry Underfeeding

My chicks are 2months 3wks old, they are 100 in number , breed kuloiler F1, I feed them on grower mash.average weight 2.5kg, are they overweight? if so what are the effects? What are the control measures.

You are within the expected weight range of 2.2-2.5. Being dual purpose and backed up by production economics would advice you market them at this age and that weight for better returns otherwise going forward your might start incurring loses depending on where you source your feed.

Thanks Edward for your advice.however as per the table this is the expected weight at maturity.remember my chicks are not yet mature ,they are only 2months and 3wks old.

Many people are selling poultry feeds.how can I know the right feed.is there a place I can do some testing to confirm the the quality.
