i read about this stuff and I was wowed by the guy claiming that he does not feed his chicken to any other feed except this fodder. Is that viable or to what extent is the this hydroponic fodder viable?

Thank you so much for your detailed response. For poultry, in this particular area, what available foods are existent. I only know of wheat grass which I have been unable to get since no one has a clue where I can get them and for how much?

Try barley or oats you can get seeds from agrovets near you but still just for supply of greens as supplements to vitamins in poultry feed you can as well grow collard greens (sukuma wiki) or even spinach

You make your own feed, you may need other ingredients to make the final product well balanced and nutritive for instance maize is high in carbohydrates, and sunflower contains proteins and fats, so using a good rationale you come up with a feed mixture of containing protein and carbohydrates but you must know feed requirements for your birds to give you information on at what ratio do you the mixing
