Hello James, Njahi (Dolichos lablab) grow and perform optimally in a wide range of temperatures since it's drought tolerant pulse crop even hot temperatures as 28°c-35°c, with a low altitudes range of 500- 1800 m.a.s.l. in slightly acidic soils PH 5-7 well drained soils. It does well in these regions Central,eastern, rift valley and most parts of Nyanza. Generally Naivasha is suitable except soil fertility, PH and drainage are farm specific so you can gage your farm based on the parameters I have outlined. Do soil test and avoid water logging soils
