Hello Jemo, thanks for your question, Cabbage varieties that are most preferred in Kenya Kitale included are hybrid varieties commonly sold out as F1 from different companies examples Gloria F1,Pruktor F1, Queen F1 ,Riana F1 any of will give better performance in good management. Spacing depends on head size, 45cm×45cm variety and 60cm×60cm for bigger head variety. Cabbage needs a well balanced NPK fertilizers-for proper root development, head/leaf formation and taste and size.
