This depends on your location and source of water. first understand the market of your locality. The carrots requires a fine tillage hence the need to prepare the land efficiently. In most cases direct planting is recommended.

Ok thanks but please i watched a video where immediately after sowing the seeds, the person covered the bed with a transparent linen. Please do u have any idea why he did that?
