The lambs have contracted joint-ill disease which is more of a welfare disease as it's control entails observing hygiene and ensuring lambs suckle enough colostrum to boost immunity. It is a bacterial disease and main root of entry is through the navel hence navel care with anticeptic(10%iodine , soon after lambing comes handy in prevention of such condition. Treatment success depends on how early the infection is detected and straight penicillin administered in addition to anti-inflammatory. Kindly seek help from nearest vet.
