Hello, I need your assistance in prescribing suitable medication for my chicks. The chicks lose balance, additionally, they lose appetite.
Find attached a photo of the ailing chick.

Are your. Vaccinations uptodate?. Kindly discribe their droppings. Meanwhile can have all of them on antibiotic(esb3)and anti-stress (egocin chick formula. In addition, dissolve DCP in water and have them on that too. Other management practices e.g feed hygiene MUST be observed as well.

Droppings comprises of whitish diarrhoea, been using Biotrim for the past 4days, I now see some improvement in the chicks health though it isn't active like before & seem to be dozing off
My question, should I shift immediately to esb3

Yes , and would recommend you lime the bedding too (mix your litter)alternatively have the entire unit cleaned and dissinifected. Esb3 is stronger antibiotic. If you can access aloe vera plant, get some crash and have them drink(ethnoveterinary)

hello. my chickens are constantly contracting coccidiosis. what is best antibiotic
Amprolium works well for coccidiosis.
Please note the reoccurrence of the diseases is more so on the housing and litter management. Older birds are carriers of the coccidia, wet and damp litter encourages the growth of the coccidia. Ensure you are also putting in biosecurity measures to ease the pressure of the infection. Clean and disinfect your drinkers and feeders every day and have a foot bath at the entry of the poultry house.
Giving medication is not enough ,you have to look into the above if you want to keep the pressure low for the disease reoccurring !
