Chickens Is it OK to feed chickens with salty vegetables?

Would not encourage you to feed your poultry on salted vegetable. The percentage of common salt recommended in poultry feed is in small quantities. Remember their is a very thin line between normal and toxic levels of sodium chloride in poultry.

Remember too that apart from the direct common salt inclusion in the ration, there is naturally occurring sodium chloride absorbed by the plants that eventually are used to make poultry feed.
