How long does it take for pure kienyenji to resume laying eggs after hatching,,,, after talking away the Chicks

The length of time will depend on several factors including, the breed ecotype, the period within which the mother hen spent with the chicks after hatching(imprinting), level of nutrition, social environment i.e any cock within the enclosure, season of the year(during cold season they take longer than dry season). On average other factors remaining constant, they tend to take from between 2weeks to 1 month. Remember after broodibg chicks, birds gets into molting period which must be completed before the cycle of laying starts again.

depending on how the death occurred and anti-mortem results you observed, if only 1 out of x number of chicks and the rest healthy, don't panic but ensure no sharp corners where they crowd at and trampling on the weaker ones.

Hi vet,how can I prevent smell from my flock cages,is product I can apply to prevent smelly from their waste

Apply lime (choka*) mix with bedding also ensure poultry house is constructed to standard. Ideal poultry house shouldn't smell at all.

@Alex, you require apart from space for the poultry unit, capital, and management some basic poultry rearing skills which by good luck you can get in this platform by joining on going trainings on this platform.
